Already creating pictures as a child at the age of six, American Gregory Burns has come a long way in his exploration of the artist soul in him. Armed with a great zest for knowledge and travel, Gregory's illustrious career has seen him painting and absorbing the diverse cultural and historical elements of many Asian countries.
Gregory’s paintings often reveal a unique blend of Western and Oriental techniques and medium, a result of his wide travels in the Asia Pacific regions. Instead of simply taking photographs of the beautiful scenery during his travels, Gregory uses his inherent artistic talent to conceptualize whatever he sees and understands into pieces after pieces of abstract images to express his thoughts and views.
Besides his forays into the art and architecture of the different religions present, he has also devoted himself to Chinese brush painting, calligraphy and the art of seal carving. His solo exhibitions have spanned the geographic site of Taiwan and he has also taken part in various group exhibitions in Singapore.
Gregory Burns, 43, is an American born artist and athlete painting from a tender age of 5. He possesses a Master in Fine Arts from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University in 1999. Despite contracting polio in his early childhood, Gregory traveled extensively around the world, and has to date, held 10 solo exhibitions and 6 group exhibitions around the world.
