Muh Liang is currently a line leader at Bizlink Centre's umbrella production unit, supervising a total of 50 other people with disabilities.
While at school, Muh Liang scored As for her secondary school art. However, Muh Liang's foray into the arts is largely attributed to the encouragement and support of her colleague, Ling Teck Mong, who is also an artist. The opportunity to develop professionally came in 1996, when Muh Liang joined the VSA Adult Painting Class and entered the Nokia "Profile of Life" exhibition. Muh Liang's diligence and conscientious attitude towards painting has paid off. In 1999, she was one of the 13 artists from VSA to undergo an intensive 3-month visual arts mentorship with Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts lecturer and artist, Oscar Ng.
