Lily Goh is a gifted percussionist and a part-time band instructor at The Canossian School. She is a seasoned performer who has been playing percussions since the age of 10. Lily has received formal training in music.  She has obtained a Grade 8 in Percussion with Merit, a Grade 5 in Music Theory with Distinction and a Grade 5 in Piano.

In 2004, she sang and signed her way into the hearts of the judges and thousands of viewers as a hearing impared contestant on Singapore Idol. Though she did not make it past the auditions, her show of grit and courage earned her a place in collective memory.  She also appeared in Channel U's Youth Decode, in 2006.

In Oct 2007, Lily became the first artiste to be selected for the VSA Talents Development Programme. She was presented a Marimba so that she would have her own instrument to practise and improve herself musically.

Besides being a talented musician, Lily is also determined not to let her hearing impairment discourage her from pursuing her goal to be a music educator and a renowned international percussionist in the likes of Evelyn Glennie.
