This tenacious mum of 2 has defied her physical condition by making every effort to take in the myraid of experiences life has to offer.

Ah Wat first started her journey in craft after seeing a craft class being conducted at the Handicaps Welfare Association. She later joined Very Special Arts Singapore's Crafter's Guild to expand on her knowledge of craft. To date,Ah Wat has learned pottery,fabric crafts,candle making and paper crafts. She is also able to make dolls and will soon be trying her hand at woodwork.

For Ah Wat,making crafts is a form of self expression. She also enjoys the opportunities it provides for her to meet more people and socialise with old friends. She hopes that craft making will help to provide a her with a small income so that she can contribute financially to her family.
